Contemporary five piece African folk band who play an energetic mix of Malawian folk songs and African roots music. nkomba’s songs reflect the variety and heritage of their collective up-bringing spanning Europe, Asia and Africa. They have played the award winning Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, numerous gigs in Egypt, Eastern & Southern Africa and closer to home the Duke (Wood St) and St Mary's Music Hall.
